Doctors Paul Hsieh and Milton Wolf have a couple of good columns that compliment one another well. The latter points out the inconvenient reality that the President’s economic policies are shovel ready:
In 1932, President Hoover received a letter from a man in Illinois that read simply, “Vote for Roosevelt and make it unanimous.� Based on its recent floundering, it seems even the White House recognizes that Obamanomics has been a disaster. It’s nearly unanimous now.
The results of Obama’s Keynesian economic policies were utterly predictable but our national “news” media continue to pretend that the failures are surprising, which is subject of Hsieh’s piece:
Too many journalists and pundits prefer to dismiss inconvenient facts that don’t fit their preconceived theories … If a doctor treated his patients with the discredited medieval medical practices of leeches and bloodletting, we would not let him off the hook simply because he later claimed his patients’ deaths were ‘unexpected.’
Actually, they might let him off the hook if he were a Democrat running for Congress. Why? Because they are playing on the same team as the President and his Democrat accomplices, and they are just as corrupt.
From the “porkulus” plan to the Rube Goldberg contraption known as ObamaCare, the President’s policies have been disastrous for the economy, yet the national “news” media continue to lie about it.
Obama needs to be replaced by a competent leader and the “news” media need to be replaced by the new media. It’s the only cure.
