Last week, I wrote a column for the American Spectator in which I suggested that, if Romney gets the GOP presidential nomination, he would spend much of his time defending his own record on jobs and health care. The following duel with Perry features Romney doing just that, but it won’t work against facts like this one that Perry threw at him:
Michael Dukakis created jobs three times faster than you did, Mitt.
And, make no mistake: Obama won’t be anywhere near as polite on the debate stage as Perry has been tonight. If Romney gets the GOP nod, Obama will hit often, hard and below the belt. Romney won’t hold up.
