If there is anyone out there who still thinks Romney can win the GOP nomination or the general election, I recommend that they read this:
Uninsured, poor immigrants can walk into a health clinic or hospital in the state and get publicly subsidized care at virtually no cost to them, regardless of their immigration status.
This means Romney is gagged on another issue on which the GOP presidential candidate MUST challenge Obama (ObamaCare also funds care for illegals).
It also makes him out a hypocrite for challenging Rick Perry on the latter’s support for educational aid for children of undocumented immigrants in Texas:
‘We have to turn off the magnet of extraordinary government benefits,’ Romney said at the recent Fox News-Google debate in Florida.
I’m not really against funding education for kids of undocumented aliens. Nor am I against paying for their health care. There’s no real escape from either anyway.
What makes this so deadly for Romney is that it shows him (once again) to be a trimmer. He’s just another RINO who’ll say anything to get elected.
After four years of Obama, Kathleen Sebelius, Eric Holder and the rest, we really need some honest leadership inside the Beltway.
And, if Diogenes were still walking around with his lantern looking for that one honest man, he wouldn’t take a second glance at Romney.
